Department for e-business

Vision of Department for e-Business, at Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia is to be leader in educational and scientific work in areas of e-Business, Internet Technologies and Computer Simulation, as well as strong relations with students, researchers and companies. By attracting gifted students, professional development of teachers and associates, Department for e-Business aims to be widely recognizable as leader not only in Serbia, but in region and worldwide.

Permanent innovations in educational and scientific work are one of the main guidelines in our work. In accordance, several important terms in area of ICT are connected with Department for e-business: “first Internet connection in Serbia”, “first studies in area of e-business in Serbia”, “first educational loud”, “first monograph in area of cloud computing in Serbia”. Members of our department have published a big number of scientific papers and have taken part in numerous projects with companies. In the research “Serbia – ICT RTD Technological audit”, funded by European commission, Department for e-Business was ranked as the second and was recognized as center of excellency.

Department of e-business includes two labs:

• Lab for e-Business
• Lab for Simulation

Studies in area of e-business are conducted at following levels:

• Undergraduate studies
• Master studies of e-business
• Master professional studies
• PhD studies

In order to foster teaching and learning processes, Department for e-Business has developed modern cloud computing infrastructure that host plethora of services for teachers and students. Teaching process is conucted using blended learning concept, where Moodle LMS is  key component of e-learning system.
